Our Adoption Process:

All potential adopters must complete an application and pay a $25 application fee.

If your application is approved, we will contact you to discuss it further and to set up a meet-and-greet with the dog you applied for.

Please apply only if you can adopt within the next two weeks.

If you want to meet multiple dogs, please join us on one of our Pittie Pack hikes or at an adoption event.

Our Adoption Fees:

Puppy/Adult Adoption Fee: $495
Senior Adoption Fee: $250

Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccines (age appropriate and up to date at the time of adoption), microchip, and deworming (if necessary). All of our dogs are thoroughly vetted and all veterinary records are available to potential adopters.

Once an application is emailed, please allow at least 24 to 48 hours for a reply.

Do you have a fenced yard? If not, how do you plan to properly and regularly exercise your pet?

Are your pets up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered?

Have you owned a dog before?

Have you ever had to rehome/surrender a pet? If so, why?

Have you ever had to euthanize a pet? If so, why?

What would you ideally like to have your pet do while you area away or at work? (I.e. crate, free roam, etc.)

How many hours a day will your pet be alone?

Are there any behaviors that would make you need to rehome your pet? (I.e. aggression, chewing, barking, accidents, getting out, etc.)

Are you open to training if necessary?

Where will your pet spend most of its time?

Are you financially able to provide proper vet care when needed?

Do you agree to keep this pet in your home and part of your family?

In any case your pet needs to be rehomed, do you agree to return him/her back to The Pittie Project?
